Summer has come and gone... well- Donna Summer that is.

Hey y’all. I’ve just completed my contract on board the Norwegian Prima doing Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. I thought I had sworn off working on cruise ships ever again, but when the audition for this show popped up, I took a risk, and it paid off!

I got to work with the original associate director of the Broadway production and Sergio Trujillo’s close associate on choreography. The cast was really top notch and we got great reviews and feedback for our entire run!

It was first book musical in some years, that’s one reason I was really drawn to the job, the other being that it was Donna Summer, the queen of one of my favorite genres of music. Getting to dance to I Feel Love, Love to Love You, Hot Stuff, and more of her greatest hits every week for 6 months was honestly the best.

I’m grateful for the experience and the opportunity to do and share what I love most, but the experience definitely, once and for all, nailed the cruise-coffin shut for me.
